Snapped on the red carpet were these beauties – and I wanted to share these pics with you. They really show that anyone can wear bold lips regardless of hair color or age! Just bring out the hidden celebrity in you – there’s one in all of us!

GS PRO TIP : -  take the plunge and wear it with confidence.

At 37 years old Isla Fisher sports a bold burgundy/red lip that works well with “minimal” eyes, sculpted brows and tousled long red hair.

Looking amazing at the age of 68, with chic silvery white hair, Helen Mirren rocks a bold red lip. Note that Helen’s stylist has dressed her in predominantly black – a sharp contrast to  her hair and thus visually stunning (black & white)

Mad Men’s Elisabeth Moss, here a brunette, is beautiful in a bold orange/red lip that sets off her blue eyes –

GS PRO TIP : remember that opposite colors compliment each other!

GS PRO TIP :  “when wearing a bold lip, keep eye makeup minimalkeep the look simple.

Apply a wash of “medium to light eyeshadow” over your lids from lashes to socket – a natural color is preferable as your lips are the star color of this look.

Eyes still need definition -  apply some liner along the upper lashes, either thin or thick’n flicked.  Lots of Mascara and the addition of false lashes are also desirable.

Don’t forget brows – they also contribute to defining your eye area. Enhance their shape with either a brow pencil or shadow”
